Well, there you go. We really are good friends, despite never having met. Daniel Pinkwater's books were extraordinarily important to me, too. Lizard Music was my gateway Pinkwater, but I loved them all. I probably think about Alan Mendelsohn, Boy from Mars, on a daily basis.
